There was a girl called Diana. Diana was kind, nice and beautiful but a very messy little girl.
One morning, she ran down the stairs for breakfast, “Good morning, Ummi!” She smiled. “What’s for breakfast?”
Her mum answered, “Good morning, Diana. You are looking as cheerful as normal. We’re having cereal and milk.”
Diana ate all her food and once she finished she washed her plate. She went upstairs to get her laptop. Her room was all messy, she had not tidy up the bed and toys were all over the floor!
"I’ll clean it up later.." Diana thought and ran downstairs.
When her mum went upstairs to see Diana’s room, she was surprised. Her room was messier than before.
"It’s time.." Diana’s mum thought. She went downstairs with a calm face.
“Diana, what are you doing?” Her mum asked, calmly.
Diana looked at her and said, “I'm playing a game: It Girl, on Facebook. Why, Ummi?” She asked.
Her mum grabbed her hand and brought her upstairs to her room. Diana was surprised. She had forgotten all about her room while she was playing.
Her mum smiled. Diana was confused, indeed.
“It’s time for me to teach you one hadeeth. Rasulullah Sallallhu'alaihi wasallam, said : Innallaha jamilun yuhibbul jamal, Allah is beautiful and…he loves beauty. It means he loves it when your room is tidy and not be a garbage bin. You don't want your room to be a garbage bin, do you ?”
“No, Ummi. Definitely not!”
Diana ran inside and cleaned her room. “Alhamdulillah. It looks much better, isn’t it?” Her mum smiled.
“Dad is coming home soon so you better vacuum the living room.” Diana nodded again and ran downstairs to vacuum the living room. She smiled and said :
“Thank you Allah for showing me the right path.”
KAK NGAH'S : ALWAYS BE TRUTHFUL
One bright sunny morning, Khalid and his sister Anisa were playing in the living room. As it was month of Ramadhan, their mother told them to fast.
“But mum! We are only little children. And we don't know how to..” Cried Khalid.
“Yes Khalid my dear, I know. That's why you have to learn.”
“Okay then..I'm going to pray Dhuhr now.” Khalid said unhappily and went upstairs.
“Mum, mum. Why do we have to fast?” Asked Anisa.
“Do you love to get rewards, Anisa ?” Mum said.
“Yes!” Anisa jumped happily.
“Well, it's not just that, Anisa dear. As muslims, we fast on the month of Ramadhan because Allah has commanded us to do so. And remember, poor people don't eat much, we could feel how they feel.” Mum said kindly.
“Now go and pray, Dhuhur time is nearly over.'' Said Mum again.
When Khalid came downstairs, he was hungry. He looked at his mum who was outside, gardening.
So, he ran as quickly as possible to the kitchen. The fruits in the basket made him hungry. Khalid looked around, checking no one was looking, and took one orange. It was very delicious and he ate some more . But he didn't realise that Anisa was looking at him, suprisingly.
“Mum! Mum! I saw Khalid eating the fruits!”Cried Anisa.
Hmm..Khalid! Come here please son!” Said mum.
“Coming..mum.” Said Khalid.
“Now, did you eat the fruits in the kitchen? '' Asked mum, frustrated.
Khalid shooked his head.
“Khalid, please...do not lie! Prophet Muhammad Sallahu’alaihiwasallam said :‘Alaikum bissidhqi, always be truthful. Anisa saw you were eating..”Said Mom.
Khalid looked down to the floor. His face was very upset.
“I'm sorry, mum, I..I was hungry...” Khalid said whilst sobbing.
“May Allah forgive me and my children.” Prayed Mum quietly in her heart.
